After 50 years, inhabitants in Probistip obtained clean water from the water supply network.
About the project
In 2013, the Municipality Probištip, with the help of the donation of the Republic of Slovenia, has installed a treatment plant for the preparation of drinking water. Due to the steady increase in the number of households (the construction of the water supply system to the nearby settlements and the increase in the population in the city due to the provision of jobs within the mine and the factory of accumulator batteries) and the growth of industrial production, the consumption of drinking water is increasing, which is why it is necessary to increase the capacity of drinking water production.
Scope of service
ISKRA was appointed to upgrade the existing drinking water treatment plant in Probistip, including ultrafiltration, revitalization and automation of the existing pumping stations.
Within the project, five interconnected water-supply facilities in the municipality of Probištip was restored, which will enable efficient and uninterrupted supply of drinking water to the inhabitants.
