Thien Tan Electric Technology is an integrated electrical and automation solutions provider. They aim at enriching customer’s success through engineering knowledge, and responsive service and support. They were suffering from poor efficiency of their site’s electrical system with
an uncorrected power factor and high penalties due to reactive power charges.
Scope of service
ISKRA was appointed by Thien Tan Electric Technology Limited, to provide a bespoke system solution for their power quality needs. The client suffered from poor efficiency of their site’s electrical system with an uncorrected power factor and high penalties due to reactive power charges.
The main criteria of our client was to improve the overall electrical efficiency of the site through the installation of a power factor correction system and with a short return on investment. The scope of work included engineering and system design, verification of key technical and commercial parameters with the client, manufacturing, supply and logistics managing.
Iskra delivered a 1.200kVAr, 6kV capacitor bank for compensation of reactive power.
